Its a place to feel at home. Nice music, friendly personal, good food.
+ staff+ great breakfast+ price
Famous place in the center of Kutaisi. Retro style atmosphere. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Place is popular among locals and tourists. Food is delicious, but bit expensive. I recommend salmon salad. Credit cards are accepted.
MoreLoved the food, and friendly staff. And relaxed atmosphere.
Had an amazing time at Palaty. The food served was tasty, not too expensive neither too cheap. The service was very professional, our waiter spoke English and was very helpful, friendly. He helped us choose the dishes and was very honest with us. The location is great, right next to the city centre, but it's difficult to find a parking spot next to the restaurant. The restaurant is quite small but the ambience is amazing. Food took time, but it was good when it arrived. Overall I would recommend this restaurant as the service is amazing compared to other restaurants in Georgia and well worth the money.
MoreVery nice local restaurant, unique style.Must go restaurant if you’re in Kutaisi.Local tasty foods, very good price-quality leveland live music just fantastic. For real do not miss this little restaurant if you are around :)
MoreVery friendly people, very tasty food and great atmosphere. It’s obvious there are many tourists but this place worth visiting it. Enjoy your chacha and have some fun!
MoreGeorgian cuisine is something great and very tasty. I tried here several of national dishes and I like it. The only bad thing that it's always overcrowded in there.
More5* 👌 for food, service, ambience. Amazing, extraordinary, magnificent. (definitely try beef with tarragon, specialty)
MoreInteresting place, live music, waitress speaks in English very well. Food delicious, prices normal. Best place in Kutaisi to eat I think
Morevery beautiful place, professional service and great English speaking. I recommend this place:)
MoreTasty food and stunning interior. Highly recommend!
Good food. Good service. I could risk saying that as per Georgia service is excellent!
MoreIncredible place! The best place to spend your summer evening at “Palaty” terrace.
MoreAs it was our last meal in Georgia, we ordered as much food as possible. The restaurant was very thoughtful as they allowed us to order the Pkhali assorted platter in half portion so we can try other food. The bean pot soup was good value as it comes with 3 corn breads. The kuchmachi (heart and liver of pig, cow) wasn't as good As the other place we've tried. The pumpkin with walnut and honey dessert was very average, pretty much just boiled pumpkin with some honey and walnut on top. Won't recommend that. The pelamushi (grape juice dessert) was OK. Quite starchy. Overall we had a good meal here with nice ambience.
MoreOverall a nice place to take a break during a road trip. Food was average. I would recommend their pasta and chvishtari. Service was excellent 👍
MoreMy couple and I went there for dinner and we didn't regret it. Great atmosphere, nice staff, service was a bit slow but it didn't bother us too much. There was live music that night which make everything more special. We had their assortment of cheese, delicious!! And the chicken with walnuts sauce that was amazing.
MoreA very nice place. I loved the decor. Very sweet and polite waitress and the food was great.
MoreI went there on my last night of my Georgia trip and it was a great finale. The food was delicious, the ambience was charming and a live band was playing some wonderful tunes.
MoreAmazing food. The service was long but they gave us two more glasses of good wine and we forgave them :)
MorePlace is wonderful, dishes tasty, music fantastic❤ staff is very frendly. I'll come back when I'm in Kutaisi❤
MoreGreat place with nice and attentive staff, good food and small details that make your visit special.
MoreTasty dishes and nice atmosphere. The wine is top.Absolutely recommended
First of all, I almost never write negative reviews, but this was just such a disappointment. We waited about 1.5 hours for our food, and then when it arrived it was pretty cold. The pasta was overcooked, the "grilled" trout was deep fried, and the vegetables with the trout were very overcooked; to the point where they start to lose their color and they only taste of sadness. The second star is only there because the atmosphere of the place is great, the staff is pretty friendly and the compote/lemonade was ok.In their defense, there were 2 large groups (20 people each) there that evening and we didn't have a reservation.
MoreFood is good. Staffs are nice. Wine magnificent. Concert in the night. I’m really addicted.
MoreIf this the best restaurant in Kutaisi, we'll too bad for Kutaisi. Chicken salad with rice tasted like something back from Soviet Union, their specialty beef with tarragon was super chewy. We left it untouched, but waitress didn't bother to ask if something wrong with the dish. Fried potatoes with mushrooms is more fried mushrooms with a little bit of potatoes. Chocolate milkshake however was really nice. Many traditional Georgian dishes are missing in menu, instead they have pasta and pizza.
MoreAmazing, cozy place. Chacha as a gift was very surprising😅
Can't wait to return here. Great tasting local food and awesome ambiance. The style is rustic with a modern twist. The staff spoke both English and Russian. Judging by the many messages left on napkins on the walls, it's frequented by a lot of satisfied customers from all over the world. A bit pricey for Georgia, but well worth it.
MoreI would say that this is my favourite restaurant in Kutaisi. They have thought through all details. Service were superb. Meals were served great... taste was quite good... keep in mind that national food is a bit salty. Price is not the highest in town, but they deserve every penny. Thank you.
MoreWow! What a wonderful place! Inspired, Georgian-based cuisine with a unique twist.Definitely let the waiter recommend you something — they really know their stuff, although they're quite young. I had the mushroom cream soup and Ojahouri with plum sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!
MoreThis is by far the best restaurant I have ever been. The interior was very cosy and relaxed. The food was delicious and well-prepared. But the service was by far the gem of it's own. The waiter was answering our calls before we stated our needs. Service offered us even more than we expected. We felt well served. The waiting time for food is quite long but it is worth waiting. The food is well served and it tasted delicious. I would recommend it to anyone and will come back any time I am in Georgia
MoreReally nice food and by far the best restaurant in Kutaisi. There was live music when I went their. Friendly and helpful staff. Good Georgian cuisine.
MoreOne of our best meals in Georgia—had to come back!
we went for a dinner in this restaurant in Kutaisi centre. We actually followed the suggestion of Trip advisor since the high score...but tbh we still don't know the reason of it... we have been waiting for very long for a dish (event though the food was good), asking twice the waiter about it... the guy didn't seems very willing to hear us but instead he did look quite arrogant with us...the interior is questionable... we have been in many other restaurants in Kutaisi where food, service, location and price were better ( like for example Argos along the river)... . Live music was cool but they gave us a very bad spot with no visual of the main room( where the musician was performing). the restaurant was full of tourist and i normally check first for some local inside to have some sort of evidence of the good reputation of the place. Overall i would say that our experience was quite disappointing... i wouldn't suggest it...
MoreIgnore the good reviews, there are only from the tourist who is trying a wonderful Georgian cuisine for the very first time, there are so many better and more authentic places with a better service. We ordered one dish and had to wait for a very long time, when we inquired about our dish the unbothered waitress when to check on it and then suddenly the dish appears without any apology or explanation. Yes, they do have live music but it's no good when you are sat at the cramped table in the corner in another room and you can't hear or see it. Very disappointing!
MoreVery quaint restaurant. We went there for breakfast and it had lots of options. Crepes, local dishes and a big happy surprise of a North American bacon and eggs option. The food was cooked to taste good and in a timely fashion. Value for the amount of food was generous. Our server was one of the few we have had in georgia that didnt seem afraid to serve us because of the language barrier. He genuinely seemed to care about his job. One of my best restaurant experiences in Georgia.
MoreGreat traditional food! Staff was very helpful. Place could be busy so reservation is recommended.
MoreWe’ve had both dinner and breakfast here. The breakfast is good priced, but nothing too special (which is no problem if you don’t expect something special). The dinner is better in my opinion. Good food for average prices. The waitresses are friendly, speak good English and really take care of your needs. They gave us a bottle of Cha Cha on the house, so be prepared for a long night! The live music adds a lot of joy to this experience, so make sure to check it out!
MoreFantastic place. So sad to see not much guests here nowadays due to corona. I recommend you to visit this place: perfect atmosphere, great service, amazing pkhali and salad.
MoreVery kind and english speaking staff, vegan options available, tasty food and cozy atmosphere :) I can only recommend
MoreThe owner has a bit of an attitude and not very welcoming. The food is nothing special and definitely not authentic.... My recommendation don't waste your time if you want something authentic Georgian.
MoreFirst time we went there was for lunch, good service and good food, the waiter was very nice, helpful and professional. Needless to say, the second time we were around Kutaisi, it just made sense to go back! And then disappointment came! Food was just as good, I am not going to lie... but the service! The waiter we had was nowhere to be found this time, instead we had 3 waiters, who looked, both bored and annoyed, making me feel sorry for walking in and sit down to have a meal. We waited 15min for the 1st dish, another half an hour for the second one, (didn’t occur to them to bring the bread earlier, to ease the delightful wait), after again feeling we offended them when asking if they forgot the last dish, I capitulated. Why bother. Good food, nice and clean restaurant, just hope you’re there when they are in a good mood! Good luck!
MoreThe food is quite good but not cheap by Georgian standards. For European tourists it's affordable though. The service is okay but not great. The place itself is nice but you should reserve a table if possible. Some vegetarian options.
MoreWe went to this restaurant as the first place we ever went to in Georgia on the search for local food. We ordered two meals and shared them. Both was extremely good and a nice introduction to the local food. Service was good for Georgian terms. Atmosphere was okay, it was nicely made but it's very small. We sat between the entrance to the kitchen and bathroom, which was not the most perfect spot. Also, there was no outside seating. Overall, we liked the restaurant and the food.
MoreDelicious food. Even the side dishes were special. Also great atmosphere with live music and friendly/helpful staff. By far my favorite place in town.
MoreGreat place, amazing atmosphere, friedly people, really nice decor and finally delicious food. This is my second Time in Georgia Kutaisi and Palaty is one of my favourite place!
MoreTasty food friendly waitress. Recommend
Such a lovely place. Loved everything about this place. Impeccable service, food and live music. During our short stay in Kutaisi, we visited this place twice and both times were great!
MoreWe spent a lovely evening here and HIGHLY recommend this place. Atmosphere is fantastic, food was delicious, and the staff (shout out to Giga) are really good. Next time I'm in Kutaisi I'll be back.
MoreGreat food, lovely atmosphere and most of all we loved the short notes from the visitors hanging on the walls. Stuff is nice, speaks english. Big recommendations!! Cheers 🍷
